Stonehurst Farm Park

Stonehurst is a real working family farm. Come and meet our cows, sheep and pigs and their farmyard friends.

Hold rabbits and guinea pigs, feed the cows and sheep, collect the eggs and enjoy a tractor and trailer ride around the fields. Children’s pony rides available daily. We have play areas to suit all ages; with two on the farmyard, play equipement along our nature walk and our popular straw barn and rope swings.

Our Farmer’s Den Teashop is open alongside the farm park providing freshly prepared food daily. Alternatively, you are more than welcome to bring you own food to eat in our picnic areas.

You’ll always get a warm welcome from the Duffin family and the Stonehurst Team.

Entrance tickets can be pre-booked on our website, or purchased on arrival at the farm – walk-in customers always welcome!

Stonehurst Farm Shop

Our on site Farm Shop is open to all visitors and the public. We stock homegrown and local produce from the area, including; fresh fruits and vegetables, milk and potatoes. You will find a wide variety of luxury jams and preserves along with other delicious products that we have carefully sourced.

There is a great selection of locally brewed beer and ciders and a wine selection hand picked by our sommelier from Johns House Restaurant.

Our John’s House bakery supplies the shop daily with freshly baked organic loaves, made with our own ‘Wildfarmed’ organic wheat.

Open to Farm Park Visitors and the Public — Enjoy our Tasty, Home Made, Home Grown Produce!

The Farmer’s Den Tea Shop at Stonehurst Family Farm proudly serves produce from our own farm, as well as supporting local producers and suppliers. Our menu includes homemade cakes, cream teas, hot food and light lunches, made with tasty homegrown ingredients. Children’s menu is also available.

We are always open to walk in customers, no booking required!

Our talented teashop team produce a selection of cakes that can be made to order. These can be viewed here.

We are happy to cater for special events and family occasions, we also have a function room available to hire. Please email to book.

Stonehurst Farm Motor
Museum

The Motor Museum at Stonehurst Farm is a fantastic collection of veteran, vintage and classic cars, motorcycles and motoring memorabilia, built up over the last 50 years by the Duffin family. Many of the cars and motorcycles on display are still running, and attend regular vintage motoring events throughout the year, including hillclimb and trialling events.

Viewing open daily to farm visitors, exhibits include, Leicestershire’s first motorised bus, 1930’s period garage, motorbikes from 1911 “TT” Ariel through to classic Vincent, cars ranging from an original unrestored 1911 Wolseley, Austin 7’s, Vauxhall 30-98, to 1960’s sports cars.

We also welcome car clubs for day and evening tours. Please contact the farm for more information.

Stonehurst Farm –
School and Group Visits

Stonehurst Farm is open for School Visits / Playgroups / other group visits for children of all ages with a minimum group size of 20 children. The farm is relevant to a wide variety of National Curriculum key stage topics and visits can be tailored to suit your needs. We can also offer evening visits for after school groups.

Visits can be self-led or can include an educational guided tour in the morning. Guided visits include close contact with the animals and their environment, growing plants and crops, nature trail and tractor & trailer ride. Followed by fun activities after lunch, including play areas and petting animals.

School facilities include undercover activity and eating areas, hand washing and disabled toilets.

John’s House is our on site, Michelin starred fine dining restaurant.  A farm-to-plate restaurant that showcases the very best of seasonal offerings using produce from Stonehurst farm. Serving a 3-course menu at lunch with tasting menus available for both lunch and dinner.
